Another Birthday Has Come & Gone

Well...another birthday has come and gone. Yesterday was my 49th. And so begins the inexorable countdown to my 50th. Anyway.

So I am still considering launching additional blogs as I have many good titles to choose from. But, that said, I'll leave it at two for the moment. That seems enough for now. I have to be careful this doesn't become like the journal I started a few years ago. I wound up only having time to do it while I was on my breaks at work...and wound up feeling like I was writing myself in circles. I would barely start a journal entry...and then have to go back to work. Or eat my lunch or whatever. Ultimately I abandoned the journal as an exercise in futility. Hoping this blog does not go the way of that journal.

Nothing much to add tonight. Enjoying a little classical music while I write this new post. It's another compilation from Madacy Special Products. It's Afternoon Delight, a 2-CD Classical Lifestyles collection. Picked it up at my Walmart for $5. Listening to Johann Sebastian Bach right now. Beautiful stuff. Anyway.

Launching My Second Blog Already

Ah, what hath launching my first blog wrought? I'm launching another one. Any opportunity for a creative outlet is a good opportunity. I've already thought of more than twenty additional potential blog titles. What can I say? I got on a roll and went with it.

This blog doesn't have a theme at the moment. I just wanted to launch another blog to give myself another creative outlet. So, I'll do some brain dumps here and in any of the other blogs I may decide to create. This blog ideally will be like Albus Dumbledore's Pensieve in the Harry Potter books: a place to collect random thoughts about all manner of things. I used to have an opinion column in a newspaper...this will be an outlet similar to that.
